Parking and Rideshare Options Near Event Venues in Queens, NY

We've been hosting events here at The Foundry since 2001, and if there's one thing we've learned, it's this: guests rarely remember how they got to the party, but they always remember when it was a hassle. So before your day arrives, we like to help you think through how everyone will get here and get home. Here's how we walk our hosts through it.

Guests can reach this Queens, NY event venue by subway via the E, M, R, N, 7, or F trains, or by driving to street parking, with valet available on request. Pre-booked car services or rideshares work for rides home, and the doorman can help arrange one.

How We Help Your Guests Get Here

In our experience, every guest list splits into three groups: the ones taking the subway, the ones driving, and the ones who'll want a ride home at the end of the night. We plan for all three with our hosts, and we'd suggest you do the same before your invitations go out.

Guests taking the subway

For most of your guests, especially anyone coming from Manhattan, the subway is the easiest way to reach The Foundry. These are the lines and stops we hand out:

  • E or M train: 23rd Street & Court Square

  • R train: Queens Plaza

  • N or 7 train: Queensborough Plaza

  • F train: 21st Street / Queensbridge

We always point our hosts to our subway directions page so guests can plan ahead.

Guests who are driving

For anyone driving in, our driving directions page covers the routes from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, New Jersey and the Bronx. We find it's the easiest thing to drop straight into an invitation.

When it comes to parking, you'll generally find spots on the streets around us in Long Island City. We just ask that your guests read the posted signs so they know the rules wherever they park. And if you'd like valet for your event, let us know, we'll help you arrange it.

Getting everyone home

Some of your guests will want a car booked before they even arrive, especially if they're dressed up and heading straight home. We find a pre-booked car service or a rideshare app both work well from our door. And if someone hasn't planned ahead, our doorman is always happy to help them arrange a ride before they leave.

Helping your guests find the right door

We'd suggest adding a few details to your invitation so none of your guests end up at the wrong entrance:

  • Our guest entrance: 42-38 Ninth Street, Long Island City, NY 11101

  • For caterers and vendors: our separate kitchen entrance at 42-32 Ninth Street

  • A link to our directions page

Conclusion

We know parking and rides home aren't the exciting part of planning an event at The Foundry. But in our experience, they're often what decides whether your guests leave talking about how smooth the whole night felt. We'd always rather walk you through it early than have you find out on the day that something wasn't clear.

If you'd like to talk it through for your guest count, give us a call at 718-786-7776, email us at ao@thefoundry.info, or fill out the form on our contact page. One of us will get right back to you.
